Who are we?
Introducing Himalayan Trekking Experience! We are a leading worldwide adventure company that will transport you to the most remarkable locations on earth. Our specialities include mountaineering, trekking, yoga retreats, voluntourism, and Bicycle tours. The company was founded by partners Sebastin and Patricia to take people to isolated locations of the Himalayas and provide an outstanding adventure experience. Starting our adventure company was probably envisioned around 2015 like we visualise so many other ideas in life. It wasn't a sudden development. I've longed to launch my initiative. I have spent much of my life doing adventure sports. After riding across 13 countries, I left my high-profile corporate career to launch India's first mobile Bicycle service unit and global Bicycle Tours cater to worldwide Bicycle Tours. My life has altered significantly over the past 10 years as a result of trekking and mountain climbing in the Himalayas. I discovered my calling, and my enthusiasm for Himalayan adventure activities has blossomed. Having had this experience in the Himalayas, I now wanted to share it with others. We have decided to increase our international operation in Spain as a result of the ongoing expansion and development over the past several years. We are adventurers at heart. And Nature provides us with experiences that are beyond our most bizarre expectations. The motivation underlying what we do is being capable of sharing them with you. We have grown over time to become your comprehensive and trusted Himalayan Experience provider. Our objective is to deliver unforgettable moments while keeping your safety at the forefront. We are the industry pioneers for Himalayan adventures. At HTE, we strive diligently to provide you with a plethora of options, and we are certain you will discover an adventure that exceeds your anticipations. People from all different backgrounds are brought together by adventure travel companies. Adventure has always sparked the human spirit and through the ambitions of engaging in an epic experience has shed the perceived sense of who we are in the realities of our everyday life. Living in the 'now' is made possible through adventure. It enables "human level" communication between people. We adore being a member of the adventure community for this amazing reason. We curate distinctive experiences in the Himalayas. Trekking, peak-climbing, expeditions, bicycle tours, yoga retreats, and voluntourism are just a few of the many activities we offer. We provide both scheduled departures as well as custom itineraries. OUR KEY VALUES VISION To be an adventure firm that facilitates promoting sustainability, life-changing advocacies, and optimism through eco-friendly expeditions while retaining strong worldwide standards. We aspire to build a satisfying work environment with notable operational excellence. We fulfil the responsibility to preserve the pathways green and encourage our trekkers to do it as well. To maximise the benefits of tourism in the area and support its sustainable growth, we also hire local tour guides, cooks, and labourers.
Before Booking
Before Booking
PRIOR TO BOOKING A TREK Trekking is as fascinating as the title suggests. For those who enjoy adventure, trekking is always at the top of the list. Young folks enjoy doing treks, and why not? Travelling and experiencing new and fascinating things makes you feel wonderful. Before starting on a walk, it is nonetheless crucial to keep a few things in mind. To determine if you are medically fit to embark on a trip, you need first have a medical examination. If your health worsens while you are on the trail, it will be impossible for you and your fellow trekkers to enjoy the experience. When you decide to go on a trek, train yourself emotionally and physically, and make sure you have all of the trek necessities with you before your departure. Otherwise, a little negligence might put a stop to your vacation. Let's go through some of the key considerations you ought to make before beginning a journey. By using these suggestions, you may turn your vacation into an exciting memory. TREK NEEDS TO BEGIN EASY It is critical for newbies to start gradually and simple with a more direct method, and this needs to be emphasised adequately. The term "trekking" is merely an umbrella term that may be broken down into easy, moderate, and difficulty levels depending on its level of complexity. EASAY An easy trekking comprises a gradual, decent, and mostly unchallenging topography. The trek typically lasts 4-5 days and a distance of about 4-5 kilometres every day. Easy ascents, relaxing descents, and favourable weather are typical features of these treks. The Himalayas are the location of several well-liked and captivating treks for beginners. However, do not discard them as uninteresting simply because they are categorized as "easy." MODERATE A moderate journey often entails traversing and navigating more difficult and extensive terrain. Such expeditions often last several days and include 5-6 hours of daily trekking and peak climbing. These paths are ideal for thrill seekers who are fit and strong and seem to possess familiarity with trekking. DIFFICULT These constitute some of the most physically demanding treks, as the title indicates, and are only appropriate for experienced trekkers who want to test their limits and conquer the mountains. These challenging itineraries generally include arduous ascents and hours of commuting over severe landscapes. The treks typically last days and call for the highest levels of both mental and physical endurance. With all truthfulness, regardless of how simple a trek may be, you will find yourself exhausted, irritable, and unable to continue if you are not prepared. The most essential requirement for a comfortable trekking experience is a strong physique. Beginners sometimes decide to dismiss and overlook the necessity of a great training regime before a trip, which generally results in their first trekking encounter being highly unpleasant. Despite our best efforts to convince ourselves otherwise, the majority of us are not physically fit. Every one of us is too busy with job, school, housework, and daily life to concentrate on workouts. Trekking is a strenuous job that necessitates preparation, a considerable level of stamina, and some prior planning. After getting that out of the way, let's look at how you might prepare for your trek across the mountain regions. Learn about the Trekking destination you're heading to. Before embarking on a trek, this is among the most crucial things you should comprehend. It is essential to do your analysis on the weather predictions. Due to the significant snowfall and unpredictability of the weather, trekking to some sites may be restricted during the wintertime. Even if a location is stunning, avoid it if trekking is prohibited there. In the Himalayas, it's typically not a good idea to trek by yourself. However, if you do, make sure to follow the precise route that the guide lays out for you. If you wander off the trail, you might wind yourself in danger. WALK AT YOUR OWN PACE The purpose of your excursion is to have fun and get a new perspective on Mother Nature. This is not a summit-chasing expedition. On the trek, don't push yourself over your limitations. It may appear to be an accomplishment to be the first to make it to the summit, but we assure you that it will eventually cause more harm than good. If you notice that you are going out of breath, slow down. If you think you might manage a quicker pace, go for it. Adopt an easy pace, move quickly, and savour the gifts of nature. BE WELL- HYDRATED AND EAT PROPERLY Trekking is an exhausting physical undertaking. Drinking water and eating small, light snacks are the greatest ways to stay energised all across the excursion. To revitalise and replenish the body and mind, try protein bars, chocolates, almonds, dried fruit, or nuts. PACK SMALL AND CARRY LIGHT It's important to just bring the bare minimum necessities for your expedition. When going on an excursion, fashion should be your least priority. Therefore, you must leave behind your fashionable jeans and quirky T-shirts. There is no room for carrying items that are unrelated to your excursion. Pack only the necessities and make sure they are snugly packed in and to your backpack. (Read our trek preparation paper to find out what to carry for your journey.) LEAVE NO TRACES OF YOUR GARBAGE This should go without saying, but please don't pollute your surroundings with trash. First and foremost, it's just basic manners. Second, it is evident that garbage collectors and cleaners do not frequently visit these locations. As a result, the trash that people so obviously throw into the route is still there. Any good trekker who is in the right mind would prefer to pick it up after themselves rather than trash. Please keep in mind to preserve the mountains' wonderful state as created by Mother Nature. INVEST IN A GOOD PAIR OF SHOES As you move about on your feet the majority of the time you're trekking, it only makes perfect sense to safeguard them with the proper trekking footwear. Although Converses and Vans are excellent shoes, they cannot compete on rocky landscapes. To begin trekking, you'll need a pair of shoes designed specifically for the activity. Your shoes should fit comfortably on your feet, without being too tight or too loose. Choose footwear that has high traction, is flexible, lightweight, and water-resistant, and that also offers ankle support. Although it may seem like a lot to ask of a shoe, any trekking shoe that is worth buying will live to the expectations. Don't forget to try your shoes before embarking on your adventure. How to Pick a Reliable Trekking Company Exposure For a precise notion of the company's experience, you need to be aware of its founding year and historical background. It is crucial to be informed of these facts before organising any vacation or excursion so that you can learn more about the firm and the foundation on which it operates. TREK COST Check the trek cost and you may directly interact, inquire about the features and exclusions of a package cost, and no hidden costs should be charged once you have registered. There are additional considerations besides price that determine if a firm provides excellent safety, service, or quality. So be sure everything is in order before making a decision. Implementing environmentally responsible methods The organisation must be willing to employ environmentally friendly methods to conduct business, which is one of the most important requirements. When it comes to making efforts to improve the mountain environment, there should be a sense of awareness. Nothing should be done if it means upsetting the ecosystem's balance. Ensuring Safety Safety is the most crucial factor in the mountain. How can I stay safe? Is safety a top concern for your company? These inquiries should receive appropriate responses since even little errors might create significant issues. You need to find out what level of quality and safety the firm offers, as well as who works for and has the best interests of hikers in mind. It must also mention how excellent the firm strives to improve both society and the environment, and not just how much it benefits the trekkers. Comfort and Quality Our priority is giving our customers high-quality service, therefore the tents they'll use to sleep while on treks should be robust and long-lasting. Everything is supplied for trekkers' comfort and the arrangements have been made in advance like the number of trekkers per tent, etc. Service Since we have been working here for six years and are professionals, we have a solid understanding of how to work in the mountains. Our commitment to providing top-notch service has never wavered. opt for Trek Organisers rather than Trekking Agencies Although there is a significant distinction between organisers and agencies, most individuals don't know this and book their treks through the latter. By collecting a commission on the trek price, they act as a middleman and pass bookings to organisers. Directly booking your journey with the organised is preferable because the dates, participant count, and return policies are varied. However, when dealing with agents, these factors cannot be altered as needed. Professional Personnel For safety precautions, it is crucial to have certified mountaineering guides in the field. Before making a reservation, you should communicate with the crew and ask them these questions. It is advisable to travel with an organization that has a qualified crew since they have the skills and expertise required to reduce dangers and a qualified leader can provide effective guidance. Trek Leader Trek Leader: A qualified mountaineer who joins you on the trek as a guide and for safety reasons. Porters They are the support group that treks alongside you, and they play a crucial part since they carry supplies and loads that are necessary for your campsites. Mules At least 2-3 mules should accompany the porters on the journey to pack the stuff not hauled by the porters. Cooking Group Every trip should include a kitchen crew that prepares healthy meals in the mountains. Food It offers a diverse range of cuisines that are delicious, fresh, and nutritious in the highlands. Meals are served three times a day, along with tea, soup, and snacks. Eco-Friendly Trekking Select a business that uses environmentally friendly techniques and adheres to the "Leave No Trace" philosophy. Maintaining the ecosystem's balance is crucial for the organisation, as is thinking about how to improve both nature's and people's lives in the mountains. Positive Reviews and Reputation Before you make any plans, you can simply check and contrast the good and negative reviews to have a better understanding of the experiences of those who choose the organisation prior. It is generally advisable to work with reputable businesses because they are known for their high standards of safety and service quality. Accommodation A decent trekking organisation includes hotel or tent lodging in the trek fee. Transportation To relieve the burden of having to organise transportation, a professional trekking company will offer vehicles for pickup and drop-off services. Forest Permit The Forest Department would give the trekking company authorization, and the charge is covered by the price of the programme. Trek Equipment A professional trekking company offers all trekkers the greatest trek equipment so that they can trek effortlessly on the excursion. All of the aforementioned amenities are available at the BTA. Our goal is to make your journey the best possible. Never only select businesses that offer inexpensive pricing; constantly look for assurances of quality, safety, and customer service. I'm hoping that this will help you find the finest trekking company without confusion. APPRECIATION OF THE EXPERIENCE Finally, and most significantly, it is crucial to have fun when trekking. The secret is to simply unplug and have fun. Trekking is an activity that gets you away from the everyday grind of life. If you love dogs, you can bring your dog on a trek with you. The procedure is mostly facilitated by prior training and consultation with the veterinarian. A dog will always be your most devoted friend on your journey. Finally, the ultimate goal of a trekking trip is to push yourself. The experience is truly fascinating, intriguing, and thrilling. Just make sure to plan your route one step at a time.
